More than laundry — it's about giving you your time back

Cents Wash House started the way most great ideas do — out of a real need. As a busy mom and native to the Montgomery, AL area, Jacenta saw firsthand how much time families were losing to laundry, including herself. Hours at the laundromat or doing laundry at home. Loads left undone. Clothes piling in a chair or sofa, left unfolded for days and weeks on end. Moms and busy professionals left exhausted as the laundry baskets overflowed and they just could not make time to do it all. Weekends that should have been spent with loved ones, spent instead sorting and folding.

So she decided to do something about it. Armed with a passion for serving her community and a commitment to doing things right, Jacenta launched Cents Wash House to bring professional, affordable laundry pickup and delivery directly to people's doors.

What started as a local service in Montgomery has grown to serve families across Greater Birmingham — Bessemer, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Mountain Brook, Homewood, and beyond — with Saturday service now expanding into the Montgomery area, where it all began.
